The short version
The Walasr app does not collect personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no crash upload. Everything you set up stays on your Mac. The only personal data we keep is the email address you give us on this website to download Walasr.
What stays on your Mac
Your settings are stored in ~/Library/Preferences and the downloaded timetables in ~/Library/Application Support/Walasr. Removing those folders erases them.
Location
Walasr reads your location only when you ask it to: during setup or when you press Re-detect. It is never tracked in the background. You can also type a city instead.

Notifications
Prayer reminders are local notifications created on your Mac. Nothing goes through a push server.
Donations
Donations go through QRIS, processed by your bank or e-wallet and GoPay Merchant. Walasr never sees your payment details.
Your email
To download Walasr, we ask for your email address. We store it with your language, which button you used, whether you asked to hear about the iPhone and Apple Watch app, and the date. We use it only for Walasr: to know who uses it, to reach you about important updates, and, if you asked, to tell you when the iPhone and Apple Watch app is ready. We never sell or share it. It is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this website. To have it deleted, email hi@tinyshipsailors.com.
Your browser also remembers that you have signed up (in local storage, not a cookie), so you don’t have to type your email again. Clearing your browser data removes it.
This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts or fonts. It is served by Cloudflare, which may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security.
